On September 15, 2008 we launched ClevelandClassical.com to promote and improve the coverage of classical music in Northeast Ohio.
Since that time, we have listed hundreds of concerts in greater Cleveland, Akron, Canton & Youngstown, previewed and written reviews for organizations large and small, arranged interviews with dozens of visiting and resident musicians and covered every note of the 2009 Cleveland International Piano Competition and the final rounds of the Cooper International Piano Competition. Our lead article every Tuesday appears on WCLV FM’s web page in the Arts News section.
We’re excited to cover all this activity in Northeast Ohio and we want to be able to do even more. In the future, we plan to add correspondents to cover the whole region more comprehensively and upgrade our website, as well as add internships for local college and university students.
